Research Interests
  • Reconstruction of atmospheric fields with very high spatio-temporal resolution for Northern Europe
  • Analysis of reconstructed daily wind statistics over Northern Europe since 1850
  • Sensitivity simulations using a fresh and salt lake parametrization for the Baltic Sea in COSMO-CLM
  • Non-Stationary in atmospheric teleconnections (i.e. NAO)

Participant in the School of Integrated Climate System Sciences (SICSS)

Projects
  • EU-BMBF funded project: Advanced modeling tool for scenarios of the Baltic Sea ECOsystem to SUPPORT decision making
  • Work Package 1: Reconstruction of atmospheric forcing fields since 1850
  • Project information: BALTEX Research / ECOSUPPORT
